Biorise Glucose Tubes contain Sodium Fluoride and K3 EDTA, and also Sodium Fluoride and Potassium Oxalate. Glucose tubes are used for glucose determinations like blood sugar, sugar tolerance.
Glucose breaks down to pyruvate and lactate with the sequential implementation of various enzymatic reactions. Sodium fluoride inhibits some enzymatic reactions, including the conversion of phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate, and prevents glycolysis.
Mixing indications: immediately after blood collection, gently invert the sample 6~8 times
